Leaf Chain

Size for size, leaf chains generally have a higher tensile strength than roller chains, and run over sheaves rather than sprockets.

- Counterweight chain for masts
- Elevator and oven doors
- Forklift truck masts
- Spinning frames
- Any other lifting or balancing applications

Note: There are two styles - AL and BL series. AL series leaf chain, removed from the former ANSI B29.8 Leaf chain standard in 1975, is continuing to be phased out in favor of the stronger BL series. New applications should use BL series chain.
