In general, nickel plating is specified when
appearance of chain is critical, for the
cost is less than comparable stainless steel
chains.
Nickel-plated chain offers acceptable protection
for mildly corrosive environments. For more corrosive
environments, please consider Neptune™ or stainless
steel.
