Stainless Steel Chain
Stainless steel has superior corrosion resistance
for the most demanding applications where cleanliness
is required or harsh chemicals are used. U.S.
Tsubaki offers a variety of different stainless
steel chains in order to suit every application.
- 600 AS Series Stainless is manufactured from
a combination of round parts made from hardened
600 series stainless and 304 stainless steel
side plates. AS Series has the highest load
capacity of all of the stainless steel chains
manufactured by U.S. Tsubaki. Use where stainless
steel is required by FDA regulations.
- 304 SS and 316 NS chains are made completely
from 304 and 316 stainless respectively. Both
materials are exceptionally corrosion resistant
and offer the same working loads. The 316 stainless
is somewhat more resistant to the effects of
magnetic permeability, temperature extremes,
and harsh chemicals.
- Titanium chain is considered the most corrosion
resistant chain. It also has benefits when overall
weight must be minimized.
- LS series chain is a combination of 304 stainless
steel plus a special polymer bearing that eliminates
metal-to-metal contact and can extend chain
life up to 10 times that of regular stainless.
