Assembly - 3rd Shift

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assembles production by hand, or mechanical means provided.
  • Knowledge of operation and maintains efficiency required to meet job specifications, production times and quality standards.
  • Reports defective parts to Group Leader and/or Supervisor.
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches and process drawings.
  • Uses scales, micrometers, calipers and gages necessary for quality requirements.
  • Knowledge of forklift operations.
  • Performs set-ups on equipment required for any assembly requirement.
  • Perform other related duties as directed by Group Leader and/or Supervisor when production schedule demands it.


  • Employee is required to frequently lift, pull and push metal components weighing between 2-7 lbs.
  • Occasionally lift, pull and push chain components in excess of 50 lbs to a maximum of 75lbs.

CNC Operator - 3rd Shift

Essential Job Functions:

  • Operates a compliment of multiple machines in a safe and productive manner consistent with procedures and guidelines.
  • Assists others in operation of various machines during set ups to maintain work flow and efficiency.
  • Reads and interprets blueprints.
  • Removes, replaces or sharpens any related tools or blades, resets and/or makes adjustments as necessary.
  • Able to use measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges and similar devices for the purpose of maintaining and documenting quality requirements.
  • Able to select proper materials/parts as prescribed by routing package, and load appropriate materials/parts into machines or feeding devices.
  • Thorough knowledge of machine operation and machining practices as related to the equipment.  Able to perform all essential job duties.
  • Able to operate any material handling equipment or be trained.
  • Able to perform maintenance as required.
  • Must maintain work area in neat, orderly condition.
  • Performs all related duties as assigned by supervisor.


  • Associated degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school preferred.
  • Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic math skills, i.e. ability to subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.  Use fractions and decimals.  Able to work with rate, ratio and percent calculations as well as graphs.

Tsubaki / Ballantine is seeking a Product Line Specialist who understands business processes and business systems. The Product Line Specialist is responsible for providing the company with products that meet or exceed our customer’s needs, and achieve corporate profit margin requirements directing and coordinating all product development activities associated with Tsubaki / Ballantine products, managing the life cycle from strategic planning and ideation through implementation and launch.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develops and maintains an overall product development plan including: new product opportunities, expand existing product lines, product applications, and features/benefits comparison of competitive products, sales forecast, and timeliness for effective rollout.
  • Identify and analyze industry trends that will impact Ballantine, to better predict the outcome of a product launch. Query data sources, both internal and external, to provide information about key aspects of given markets (e.g., competitive pricing, market size, market share estimates).
  • Analyze product performance, making recommendation for change to existing products, and identifying opportunities for new product introductions and line extensions.
  • Generate a weekly status update on products and projects


  • 5+ years in the aftermarket construction wear parts industry
  • 2 to 5 years development experience
  • Proven analytic and reporting skills (data mining, excel reporting, access, analysis, presentation development)
  • Proven track record of developing and launching new products
  • Team player and influencer, able to influence cross-functional partner to gain support and alignment to ideas
  • Travel 20%
