I started working for U.S. Tsubaki in October of 1988. This year, I will be celebrating my 36th work anniversary. I like working at U.S. Tsubaki because of its people and their openness. When I started working here, I was afraid of being rejected as I did not know much English and was young. I was still learning the English language at the local Holyoke Community College. However, the employees that were here made me feel welcome and taught me how to be successful at my job. I started working in the Shipping department packaging product. Then I moved to an inspector position and then worked as the “floor boy” by bringing products to operators. I have been working in different Set-Up and Operate positions for most of the last 30 years. I have worked here most of my life and I like working here. I like the opportunities that I have had and the benefits that this company provides.

I have been part of the Tsubaki team for a year and a half and I am fortunate to work with an extremely talented team who have taught me so much. From folks who are on the floor making the product to the office staff, everyone has been willing to work together to accomplish the common goal of providing our customers with a superior product. Not only is the culture of the Tsubaki team unparalleled, but the benefits package provided is equally amazing. Tsubaki has been the best overall experience in my career. I look forward to coming to work and seeing my colleagues daily, and my goal is to remain with the company until I retire.

Having started my career here straight out of college, I gained invaluable experience in manufacturing and planning. During those early years, I also formed lasting friendships that have been a significant part of my professional journey. After several years, I sought new challenges with another company, which allowed me to broaden my skills and perspectives. Throughout my journey, I had the opportunity to work with various local manufacturing companies, which further enriched my professional experience. Now, I am thrilled to be back at U.S. Tsubaki, eager to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for my continued growth. I truly appreciate the opportunity to return and work with such a great team once again.
