 associate programmer/administrator - entry level 

Essential Job Functions:

  • This is an ENTRY LEVEL position is for an Associate Programmer/Administrator to support the organization’s programming and DB administration needs. 
  • Candidate must be willing to learn technologies in support of a team of programmers and administrators.
  • Primary focus would be developing in Progress in a QAD ERP environment and UNIX administration.  
  • Candidates with limited related experience will be considered, with training provided to grow and development into role.  

Requirements:

  • Knoweldge of multiple programming languages
  • Knoweldge of relational databases including but not limited to Progress/OpenEdge, Microsoft SQL
  • Experience working in a team setting with clients and field consultants to define specifications, document the solutions. 
  • Willingness to learn new languages/technologies.
  • Progress 4GL, Python, NodeJS, C#, VB.NET C++, Microsoft.Net a plus.
  • UNIX Administration (Red Hat/Centos) and Management and shell scripting
  • Knowledge of QAD ERP a plus
  • 4-year degree in computer science or equivalent experience a plus, but not required.
  • Effective communicator, with the ability to clearly articulate verbal and written communications.
  • Understanding of Business, Manufacturing Practices and Methodologies, and Financial/Accounting expertise a plus.

 INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for managing customer accounts with objectives to increase customer satisfaction, gross margin and sales.
  • Handles customer request including quotes, orders, follow-up and delivery information.
  • Solves various customer matters, issues credits, debits and authorizes return goods.
  • Communicates customer requirements to Operations & Engineering.
  • Monitors price inventory agreements.
  • Supports members of the outside sales team.
  • Works well in a team environment to solve customer issues.
  • Communicates issues and problems with management in a timely manner.
  • Maintains superb attention to details.
  • Maintains detailed documentation to support decision and ensure continuity of service.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of advanced level Customer Service experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong customer focus- able to listen carefully to identify customer requirements and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Knowledge of order entry / enterprise systems, preferably QAD.
  • Minimum High School Diploma (Associate’s degree preferred)
  • Strong ability to clearly articulate verbal and written communications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of all Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be technically orientated.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines is critical.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

  PRICING ANALYST

Essential Job Functions:

The Pricing Analyst provides competitive, timely, relevant quotations for Made-to-Order products, high volumes of stock product, and special projects with the objective to secure the order while meeting company gross margin expectations.  Quote turnaround time, sales and gross margin are key targets for this position.

  • Provides quoting tools, alternatives, technical information and coaching on pricing process and policy to Inside Sales Representatives.
  • Works directly with outside sales team, Product Managers and other members of the organization on large quotes, to gather pertinent competitive and/or application information when required.
  • Negotiates factory costs if required to meet margin expectations. 
  • Ensures that special process costs are also covered in pricing, including Hold-For-Release, special packaging, etc.
  • Develops responses to competitive pricing requests and special lead time requirements.
  • Utilizes reporting in BPM and QAD to manage the quote process and meet quote turnaround time goals.
  • Ensures that prices are updated as factory costs change and price increases are implemented.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred, but not required.
  • Manufacturing environment experience required.
  • 3+ years identifying & pricing customizable products and Made-to-Order items.
  • Ability to identify items by reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word required.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work; excellent time management skills required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate good judgment and decision making with the ability to analyze situations and present a resolution(s)
